Nice Clean house not cluttered, Parking outside on the road was ok, short walk to the harbour, had a great stay.

Stayed for a week early October - great to be there out of the main season but whilst everything still open. Cottage is in great location in Porthleven and can walk SW coastal path in both directions starting at the harbour. Parking was never a problem. The Ship Inn is a lovely old pub, always busy but plenty of seating. Recomend Kota Kai for a special meal. Pilchard cottage is warm & comfortable and well equipped. We really enjoyed browsing the galleries in Porthleven and watching the stormy sea one wild evening. Small micro brewery also recommended.

We had a lovely stay.  Location was perfect just a short 2 minute walk into the harbour.

Porthleven is a beautiful, friendly place and Pilchard Cottage was lovely we had a great holiday and will come again 😀

Beautiful cottage less than 5 minutes easy walk to the harbour & its amazing cafes & restaurants. The house was immaculate & had everything we needed, parking was always available in the street often right outside. Nice local supermarket also in the harbour that saved the trip to your regular supermarket in Helston a 10 minute drive. Bed was super comfy & the large walking in shower piping hot & very welcome after an afternoon on the beach. Porthleven is a great place to stay - we didn’t get bored once & were in were in easy reach of Penzance/Newlyn & the quaint Mousehole. Also less than thirty minutes drive to Hayle and its stunning beaches. Thoroughly recommend Pilchard Cottage!!

Lovely little house with surprisingly more space than expected. We're 2 adults with a 12yr old and a small dog. Massive cellar for beach storage. Very clean & everything you could need provided, even for our doggy with water & food bowls & towels. Very thoughtful complimentary scones with cream tea, coffee, milk and tea. Brilliant position in town & only a 5 minute walk to the harbour and village centre. Very Quiet location & higher up on the hill. Parking is a bit of a nightmare as the streets are quite narrow & you may have to park a bit of a walk away but it wasn’t a problem for us as we managed to get fairly close each day. But everything about our stay was brilliant. The property was clean & well looked after. Great communication from the hosts too.

Lovely cottage - ideally located a couple of minutes walk from Porthleven harbour. Thoughtfully refurbished with coastal details. Well equipped and cosy. We had a wonderful short break and would definitely recommend.

This was a wonderful little Cottage in an excellent location. We have enjoyed many visits to Porthleven but this actually was our favourite! If at all possible we will book this lovely little cottage again in the not too distant future. Very impressed by all aspects of the property and your service! Thank you very much

Porthleven exceeded our expectations, a really pretty town, with several good places to eat out and a lovely beach all within 5 mins of our cottage. The locals were very friendly to us too.
